Three More Students Begin University!
Hamomi is so excited to send three more of our accomplished students to university – Benjamin Wambua Muuo, Hesborn Angwenyi and Milton Chilali!
Hesborn (pictured above) is studying English Literature and Education, and he is hoping to become a lecturer once he graduates. Benjamin is still deciding. Milton is studying Communications and Camera Operation, and is considering becoming a journalist.
These students received the Hamomi Secondary School Scholarship and graduated with good grades in their four years of high school. The students’ college and university fees are being paid for by Hamomi. Both Benjamin and Milton are in need of a scholarship sponsor. If you are interested in this, it takes $1,000 per year to support a student in university. We are so happy to be able to help our students seek the highest education possible! In 2017, Hamomi will be supporting a total of 13 students in seeking a tertiary education, in addition to 40 students in secondary school and 100 in primary school. We hope to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of these students and young people as they are empowered through education to bring change to their families and communities.
