GiveBIG is a day of online giving when The Seattle Foundation will S T R E T C H donations made to Hamomi. Plus, a very generous anonymous donor will match up to $5,000 of donations made through GiveBIG. Both of these creative ways to expand your support mean that your donation will be more than matched!
In 2013, GiveBIG pushed Hamomi over the threshold to be able to buy land. It raised over $20,000 on an average donation size of $20. Everything counts, so spread the word! (Use Facebook Event Here for an easy way to help.)
In 2014, GiveBIG will allow us to invest in that land through things like:
- Purchasing nicer desks,
- Painting the walls,
- Expanding gradually to create the Hamomi Medical Clinic,
- Geologic surveys to investigate what types of buildings are possible for us,
- And much more.
